Dr Dave Kohl

Dr. Dave Kohl

Academic Hall of Famer in the College of Agriculture at Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA. Dr. Kohl has keen insight into the agriculture industry gained through extensive travel, research, and involvement in ag businesses. He has traveled over 10million miles; conducted more than 7,000 presentations; and published more than 2,500 articles in his career. Dr. Kohl’s wisdom and engagement with all levels of the industry provide a unique perspective into future trends.

Naomi Blohm

 Specialist at helping farmers understand how to manage their cash marketing needs. In addition, she helps them understand the importance of managing basis, delivery point considerations, cash flow needs and storage capacity. She also assists with explaining, implementing, and managing futures and options strategies for clients.  Frequent contributor on “Market to Market,” This Week in Agri-Business, U.S. Farm Report, and Ag Day as a guest analyst. Contributing author for Farm Futures, Successful Farming, and High Plains Journal.

Jim Wiesmeyer

  Contributes daily to Pro Farmer’s online website at FarmJournalPro.com, providing members with the latest information on economic outlook, agricultural policy and trade developments. He also is a twice-weekly participant in Farm Journal’s Agri-Talk radio program and serves as a Washington analyst for Pro Farmer. He frequently reports on and interviews senior government officials and is a highly sought after speaker on economic outlook, farm policy and trade issues.

Travis Glaser

 Owner/Agent of ARM Services will provide an update on crop insurance products and strategies. Growing up on a Dairy Farm in northern Dunn County, WI, Travis has always desired to be around the Ag Community. He left for school to become an Accountant and worked for Clifton Larson for a short period of time in their Manufacturing & Ag Sector.  He Started with Ag Risk in 2010 working as an Accountant, moved into sales in 2013, and purchased the agency in 2017. Travis has dedicated himself to serving his clients and keeping up on the ever-changing crop insurance policies.
