The seeds of ARM Services were started at Ag Risk Managers LLC, a small family-owned business.
The business now includes 11 full-time employees serving farms around the country. Our commitment to exceptional service and personal interaction, along with the loyalty of our clients, have helped ARM Services grow and diversify.
From our original roots as a crop insurance provider, we’ve expanded to include value-added agricultural services, like automated production and acreage reporting capabilities, as well as additional insurance products, like whole farm property and ag-related commercial insurance policies.
To reflect this expansion of our business capabilities, ARM Services LLC was formed in 2018. The commitment to our clients and the agricultural industry, has and will, remain the same. We regularly provide information and updates on ag industry legislation, markets, and developments, and we hold a daylong conference each year detailing what we see as some of the most pressing topics in the industry. We believe an informed consumer is a better protected consumer, and we strive to provide the best information and education possible.

We purchased crop insurance from another provider for about five year before we met Travis and ARM Services. Before ARM Services, we had very little knowledge of what we were buying and why. Our previous agent sold us a 70% policy because that’s what everybody else was buying and that would protect us. It was not completely wrong, but it definitely wasn’t the best policy for us. We were like a lot of people – paying for insurance that was in all likelihood never going to pay us anything. After meeting with Travis, I started to become more familiar with crop insurance, why we should buy certain policies and at what levels. ARM Services introduced me to so much information, spreadsheets of data and history of the policies that making the decision of what to buy and at what levels became way easier. ARM has an amazing amount of information for the producer to view and understand, and they take the time to explain it to you, either on the phone or at your farm. They also offer wintertime meetings to keep us informed and up-to-date on any changes to crop insurance or market data. When you buy a policy with ARM Services, you buy it knowing it is the best policy for your farm and situation, and that you are getting the most bang for your buck. They never pressure you into buying anything and will only sell it to you if you’re 100% comfortable with it. They have taught us so much about crop insurance! I feel we have a real handle on what we buy and why, and we are able to make changes to our policy every year so it fits our needs, budget and coverage level. We can sleep at night knowing we have the best possible coverage we can get. We have been with ARM Services for about 10 years now and have been introduced to many other insurance options that fit our needs for our farm. A few years back, we started purchasing PRF rainfall insurance and have protected ourselves from the results of a drought. We are also very fortunate to have been introduced to LGM Dairy through ARM Services, and have protected a lot of milk with its policies. We have greatly reduced the affects of the poor dairy market prices due to protections in our LGM Dairy policy. ARM Services has taught me so much about LGM Dairy, why we need it, and the differences between it and MPP. They are also constantly keeping us updated on changes in dairy policies, and they research the new programs to give us the best product for our farm. And we use ARM Services for more than just crop and commodity insurance. Just last year we were very disappointed with our farm insurance provider and looking into ARM Services farm insurance. We discovered that the time, energy and expertise they put into crop, LGM Dairy, and PRF insurances they also put into their farm insurance program. We met with Jacob Pintens from ARM Services and were amazed at his knowledge! He reviewed our current insurance, came out and showed us where we could save money, and offered suggestions on areas to cover more in order to get the most out of our insurance. After meeting with us, he worked hard with the underwriters and saved us a lot of money, plus we received way better coverage and an umbrella policy. Jacob took pictures of all our equipment and buildings and put it together in an easy to read and understand binder. And now, instead of maybe seeing our insurance agency once every five years, we will see him and make changes once a year or more if we want or need to. We would highly recommend ARM Services to anyone looking to save money and get more out of their crop and farm insurance coverage. They are knowledgeable about what they offer and are always there to answer questions. They are a company you know you can trust because they treat their clients with honesty and integrity. We would highly recommend ARM Services for all your crop and farm insurance needs. – William (Bill) and Bridget Ciolkosz
